Alright, so it was very hard to stop long enough to take a picture. Absolutely perfect "bluebird" powder day. Pine cone is a hiking access ridge that is closed more then it is open. Today was the first day of the year for lower pine cone. It's as close to back country skiing as you can get in bounds. We did four laps and by the fourth my legs were shaking uncontrollably. I'm going to pay for it tomorrow.
This is my super good friend Marcy. Marcy was in a avalanche on pine cone ridge back in 2003. What a trooper to keep at it even after that experience.
On a lighter note...I've lost my cell phone. If anyone calls, please leave your number even if you think I have it. Thanks!!
Off to a wedding (the real reason I am out here). Check in tomorrow for some pictures.
