Who has heard of Portovert? It's the only magazine dedicated to green weddings. I knew I'd really made a mark for myself as a green wedding photographer when Portovert's editors contacted me for photos of real green weddings for a new feature section on their site.
They chose to feature Jill and James' botanical garden wedding. They thought it was a clever way of having a tropical wedding in November.
Not only did their selection cut down on the need for decorations, it also eliminated the carbon emissions and pollution caused by floral transportation.
Does anyone know of any other greenhouses that host weddings?
I know the Common Man's Italian Farm house hosts weddings in their greenhouse, but I don't think it's a working greenhouse. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I'd love to know of others!
